Jukola (2012-06-17)

OK race on Jukola...Finaly getting in to the old good shape;-). Great start till 11th control. Then total misunderstanding (actualy I saw I'm going to the left and try to correct the direction, but without success) when coming to big road, cause there were electric lines, which are not on map, but I should have been crossing one. 2 minutes of mistake:-(.Before number 14 I was very confused about what was going on there, so I stopped I lost about 1'. When I checked GPS routes there was noone going as I did to 21, they all were using the path in left in begining, but yeah my routechoice was goood;-). 24 big mistake. Again some direction troubles and problems with misunderstanding the map. Simply I got lost when going up the hill shortly after going between those forbiden areas and the was very confused. And then came my awesome last part. I was looking around me on the field if there is someone to beet or to run away, but there was noone so I actualy slowed down a little after crossing the last field. Chosen the secure way to aproche 31st control but stil made 30'' of mistake in the circle. Finally came the pre last control, where I totaly misunderstood the map and kind of freaked out going useless in small circle like stupid person. Then I went a bit down to catch the stone under and when I came back up the hill I saw Anton Tynong and 4 other guys coming out of the spot already. So I went up punched also and tried to find some last energy to catch those guys back, especialy Attunda:-) Finally I was able to beat three of these five guys and saved the position in top 60. Great success!!!
