3rd czech relay cup (2009-05-23)

Second team, second leg (from three). To forest: 3rd. From forest: 8th.
Place on leg: 14th. My bad day continued also afternoon. I started just some sec after the 2nd and I catch him on first control. Than I lead our couple and on third control saw the first one just around 15sec before me. I run out from the 3rd one and take clear the 2nd place. I didn't see the first anymore. I started to be very carefull from 5th. Lost some sec on first place but take very good position before the other guys. On 10th I had two minutes before a big group, which includes a lot of great runners like hungarians Adam Kovacs and Zsolt Lenkei or czech national team runners Jan Mrazek and Jan Sedivy. But than it came. On the way to 11th I saw a control on yellow flat behind a big fallen three (green cross). I thought, yes It must be in map. So I looked and there was just one cross between the controls and its near a yellow. So I go down to search for it. But unsuccesfull. I was confused so went to road. When I came up again the big group catch me. I lost near to 3 minutes. In finish, they said me, that the control I saw was in the depresion behind the tree that is not on map. But I continued with the bunch of great runners fighting again for 2nd place.13th was forked and I went with a good group but they had somethind behind the road and I didn't saw my control. Bad luck I search it for more than a minute. So some other guys got me. In the very end I run fast but it was really too little. My team mates did great job and I disapoint them.
